MAV and its tournament directors will be the final judges on the disposition of the tournament. Tournaments may be suspended due to adverse field conditions or local environmental (heat, rain, lightning) conditions. MAV may alter the format of any match due to time constraints or weather conditions.
Tournament Procedures:
- Players must check-in during designated times (7:45 to 8:30 AM). Failure to have all players present may result in loss of entry.
- All players must sign the MAV waiver which will be viewable upon registration.
- Tournament play begins between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. All courts should have started play no later than 9:00 AM. Players must be prepared to play or work at scheduled start time or risk forfeit.
- No more than ten (10) minutes will be allowed between games. If a team is not ready to play at the end of 10 minutes, a forfeit will be given to the opponent for that game. Subsequent forfeits will be declared after every additional 10 minute period until the match is complete.
- Honor calls are expected during play, however work teams are expected to make calls and resolve disputes.
- Work teams manage time between games and matches. Timing starts when the final point of the game is declared. If the work team fails to show they will forfeit the first game of their next match.
- The work team of the last match is required to log the results into the tournament management system.
- The team that loses the last game of pool play must stay and work the first round of playoffs. If that team is in the playoffs, their previous opponent must stay and work. If they also are in playoffs the work team of the previous match becomes the work team for the first round of playoffs.
- The losing team of a playoff match works the next playoff match. The loser of the last semi-final match to finish must work the final match.
- During pool play, if teams cannot agree on a game ball, the work team will decide. For playoffs the higher seed gets choice of game ball and court.

In the event of a tie for first place in pool play (multiple pools), tie breaker is a follows;
Head-to-head record, point deferential in head-to-head match, over all point differential, coin toss. Both teams go to playoffs.
Tie for second place in pool play, 1 game to15 points, 15 point cap.
